Very warm welcome by the hosts Ann and Brian. They're One in a million! It really felt like 'coming home'. If you're looking for a place to stay that feels like home, this is it! Lovely interior, well equipped kitchen, 1- or 2-bed rooms, beautiful pool area to relax. Worth every cent! Would highly recommend it - also for families.

The food for breakfast is fantastic. the location is very convenient, providing a relaxing atmosphere. It's great to have an IGA supermarket nearby that's open until 11 pm, along with a bottle shop, hotel, and a variety of restaurants and takeaway options. Plus, Cairns Central and its vibrant nightlife, as well as the Lagoon, are just a stone's throw away.

Expected a key-drop on early departure but no-where to put it; went and reopened room and left key on bed. Bathroom very poor in general. E.g. soap holder was broken and gently perched to look good but to fall when touched.

Good facilities, very friendly staff, clean, spacious
A bit noisy especially from other guests returning at night, facilities a bit dated, not the prettiest location

It is ideally located and closer to the CBD and the shopping centre including the Esplanade.
House keeping services is poor. Rooms are not cleaned daily and beds are not made. Soap and shampoos are not repleced with new supplies.

The rooms were very clean, and the managers were very polite and helpful
There was slight noise coming from people walking up the steps, due to the type of ceramic tiles that were laid

Our stay here was quite enjoyable for the holidays. It's located in a central area, away from the main tourist spots, which was really nice. Plus, it was just a short walk to the Tavern and conveniently close to takeaway places. 😊.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff were friendly and the room was spacious and clean. The location was perfect - just a short walk to the harbor and close to restaurants. I appreciated the amenities such as the tea and coffee facilities and the in-room safe. The hotel also had a swimming pool and BBQ facilities, which were a great addition to my stay. I had a comfortable and enjoyable time here.
I would highly recommend this hotel to families.
